What an amazing resource in Stowmarket! The advert indicated secure shredding via Squab at the new Atex Business Park, so, having an accumulation of...‘sensitive’ paperwork I popped in and met Josh. He explained how the system works, I took away a few bags which can hold up to 16 kg and filled them. Took them back sealed and paid just £7 a bag, clean garage, well cleaner; job done! Experienced their Shredding Service In Leamington Spa which was very easy to follow online to order and pay for the bags I required (up to 16kg per...bag). Picked them up, filled them up with my paper, sealed the bags and then dropped off at their site. They then sent through a certificate of destruction. All in all a great easy and cost effective service. I will recommend this to my friends and use again.read more

I would absolutely recommend Squab in Leamington for easy student storage over the summer. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the whole...process, so far, has been very easy to navigate. The storage building and our unit were clean and well maintained. It’s in a lovely setting that looks very well cared for and even has a sweet little café on site where my son and I had lunch before setting off for home. Used Squab for a house move. I used their packing service as well and it was worth the money as everything was packed extremely securely and far...better than I could have done myself. A great weight of my mind! On the day the removal men were punctual, polite and hard working.
Everything went smoothly and everything arrived safely with all the boxes labelled so we knew where they were going.
Having moved into a new build property they took all necessary precautions to protect the new property (covers on staircase etc).
They also recycle the packing materials where possible and will collect any boxes you can't unpack on the day, at a later date for no extra charge.
You might find cheaper quotes, but I doubt you'd get this level of service.read more

We have just taken a storage unit at Squab’s Leamington site. It’s everything we wanted, very clean, easy to use, great location and other...facilities on site, and most importantly secure. We also need access for multiple users, often beyond the normal working day, and Squab can arrange this too.

I’ve hired a Peugeot Luton from Squab and use it to move my furniture to the new house one week ago and I definitely made the perfect choice as the...team was very responsive, very polite and very helpful. The van was clean and spacious, easy to drive and easy to use.
The instructions received from Steve were clear and I’ve been comfortable the whole time once I’ve started to use the van.
I believe that if you provide the minimum level of diplomacy you’ll get it back, so in my case I just wanted to do my job and didn’t abuse the van.

I hired a large van for 24 hours. The process was very slick and Andy and Anne were very responsive. The van was only a couple of years old and was...perfect for what I needed. It came with a full tank of fuel which meant filling up to return it was much easier than trying to guess how much to put in. I needed a small van to collect some items. After comparing sites I settled on Squab but the van I had been looking at wasn't available but a larger...one was. I booked the larger and then enquired about the smaller one to be told that it was being repaired and if ready in time it would be booked to me. This occurred very quickly and I was informed about it a day or so prior to picking it up.
The van was clean, sound and motored well with good fuel consumption. No complaints there at all.
The initial welcome was pleasant and warm and efficient and all details were noted quickly. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and chatty.

We hired a storage unit whilst we waited for a house purchase to complete and also used Squab for the removals when we were ready to move. The...storage unit itself was very secure, clean and easy to access with trollies etc provided to help move items in. The staff we dealt with were very helpful and friendly and everything was straightforward and easy to hire. The removals team that we dealt with were very professional throughout the quote stage and explained all of the options and what was included so it was easy to understand. On the day, the removals guys (Chris, Matty H and Sam) were extremely good, everything was carefully moved and put into the correct places, bed re-built, it all made what should be a very stressful day, a lot less stressful, would highly recommend!read more

If you've found another storage and van rental company better than Squab Leamington then you've done very well! All the staff are friendly, helpful,...knowledgeable and extremely polite. A pleasure to deal with. The vans are clean and well looked after - all drive well. The storage facility is very clean and tidy, well lit and easy to use. If you've never used a 'lock up' before then it might be something of a surprise how clean, dry and secure they can be. Squab certainly is. Would certainly recommend!read more
We rented a 100 sq ft storage unit at Squab. We spoke to Andy and Anne at Squab, both of whom were very helpful and friendly. We went to visit before...committing to the rental and Andy showed us around and answered all of our questions. We were really impressed with how good, modern and clean all of the facilities are and also with the assistance that we received from the staff there. The location is really handy for us, being on the outskirts of Warwick, which means we can get to it without getting stuck in town centre traffic and it's kind of nice how peaceful and quiet it feels while you're there, with it being in a lovely rural location.
Prices were competitive with other local storage companies and we also got a discount for agreeing a 1 year rental and paying upfront (discount also available for 6 month commitments).
They offer a bunch of other services which could be handy, for example van hire (discounted if you have storage there), removals, boxes and even some workspaces for rent if you need a desk somewhere.
All the facilities are clean, well lit, secure and generally well presented. Goods lifts and trollies are available for free use, so having a unit which isn't on the ground floor isn't much of a problem. Lots of different sizes of unit are available. We went for the 100 sq ft one, even though a 75 sq ft one probably would have been big enough, as the 100 sq ft and above come with double doors, as you can see in the pictures, which makes getting large items in a bit easier.

I rented a luton van from Squab to move some bulky items. The rental cost was affordable and the pick up / drop off process was easy. The van was in...good condition and had a lower than normal floor height so loading was easier. The team clearly took the condition of their vans seriously.

I have used Squab for storage while we move house and I have been really pleased with their service which has been fantastic, and everyone I have...spoken with has been extremely helpful and accommodating. I had originally pre-booked a unit which on the day turned out to be too small! This wasn't an issue at all and Squab were very helpful and found me another unit that was big enough.

Squab moved us from Warwickshire to Yorkshire. The whole team, from office support to the removal men themselves, were friendly, flexible and very...professional. They thought of everything - even covering the front door so it did not get scratched. Would definitely recommend.read more

However Squab increased the price of our move by £1000, at the last minute, blaming an error in their original quotation. This made them very expensive, but at this late stage we had little option but to pay up.

Service i received was great from start to finish. I had a removal company deliver my items to Squabs facility, where we loaded the items into a...Crate.
Communication was great and always happy to answer question.
When it was time i needed the items, they delivered the crate at relatively short notice and left the crate (inside a small trailer) for us to unload.
Once we were finished a quick call and the crate was collected.

Excellent service received from Squab who did our domestic packing and removals. Great friendly team who worked really hard to get through a lot of...stuff. The packing was truly excellent. After being a little unsure initially that it would be worth it, I'd 100% pay for this in future. Thanks to Matt, Mick, the other guy and the new guy on his first day (sorry I forgot the names!) if you're reading this. I hired a luton van for two days for the purpose of moving house. I found hiring via Squab to be a good experience as I had to change the hire date a...couple of times but this was no problem. The van itself was almost brand new with just 1,000 miles on the clock, it was therefore in very good condition inside and out. Very well organised Self Storage many different types of storage from humidity controlled in various sizes to outdoor areas.
I usually rent a van from the usual rentacar companies, and their prices fluctuate from lower to very high. On this occaison I couldn't find an...acceptable price with the usual suspects, so an internet seach led me to the Squab site. Their price was acceptable, and the service was wonderful. The van was well equiped and brand new. The staff were very helpful and eager to return my depoist. Will definately rent from them again.read more
Efficient and well-organised.
Very helpful in the early stages of the Covid crisis . Had to cancel initial return of goods in store as lockdown first began but later devised...acceptable solution which involved delivering the box to allow us to unload ourselves - without any contact whatsoever . Taught us that we never want to be removers ourselves - but Squab did a fine job .

Move was postponed at 24hrs notice due to Covid 19. When we could finally move Squab were most helpful, and moved us over 2 days as agreed. The...guys worked really hard while observing the distancing rules. We couldn't have asked for a better crew. The team at Squab have a great service. The units are secure, modern and well priced. When you first take a unit you get to meet the team who show you around. There is a lot included which actually helps a lot. From the kit you can use to move your stuff into the units to the packaging and removal service too.
